  • BMW M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle of Man TT coming to Australia

BMW Motorrad has revealed the M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle of Man TT, a strictly limited production run of 115 units produced to mark the 115th running of the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy in 2026. Just a few are headed to Australia.

The special edition is based on the M 1000 RR M Competition (without pillion package) and adds a package of TT-specific design elements and collectables. The most striking visual change is the British Racing Green Uni Matt paint finish paired with a Satin Chrome aluminium tank, over which runs a detailed Mountain Course graphic.

Left-hand turns from the circuit are mapped across the left fairing side; right-hand turns appear on the right.

A matt-finish M carbon airbox cover carries an outline of the Mountain Course along with the TT logo. The seat is trimmed in black Alcantara. Each unit receives a milled sequential number on the top yoke and a certificate of authenticity.

Additional equipment includes a black swingarm, TT branding and lettering on the rear frame, M Race Cover Kit, rear workstand, assembly stand mounting, and an M motorcycle mat bearing the M and TT logos.

BMW Motorrad’s connection to the Isle of Man TT stretches back to 1939, when Georg Meier won the Senior TT on the BMW RS 255 Kompressor. In 1976, Helmut Dahne and Hans-Otto Butenuth won the 1000 cc Production class on the BMW R 90 S.

In the modern era, Michael Dunlop broke through in the 1000 cc class on the BMW S 1000 RR in 2014, and Peter Hickman completed a Superbike, Superstock and Senior TT hat-trick in 2022.

In 2023, Hickman set the outright TT Mountain Course lap record of 16:36.115 at an average of 136.358 mph (approximately 219.4 km/h) on an M 1000 RR in Superstock specification, a record that still stands. Davey Todd added a Superbike victory at the 2025 TT on the M 1000 RR.

The M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle of Man TT will be on display at this year’s TT. Australian pricing and availability details are expected to be confirmed through BMW Motorrad Australia.
