ZXMOTO competes in the FIM World Superbike Championship’s Supersport class in its debut season, where the factory Evan Bros Racing outfit has recorded three race wins.

Riders Federico Caricasulo and Valentin Debise currently hold third place in the WorldSSP standings. Debise took back-to-back victories at the Portimao round in Portugal and also won at Balaton Park in Hungary.

The brand was founded by Zhang Xue and is headquartered in Chongqing, China. Beyond its WorldSSP programme, ZXMOTO has announced plans to contest the Dakar Rally and the Shanghai round of the MXGP in September.

A LAMS-approved model is also in development. Components sourced from Bosch, Brembo, KYB and TAISKO are cited in the brand’s specifications.

ZXMOTOZXMOTO founder and CEO Zhang Xue meets with Joseph Elasmar, CEO of Urban Moto Imports, at ZXMOTO HQ.

UMI CEO Joseph Elasmar said the partnership was the result of visiting the ZXMOTO factory and meeting Zhang Xue directly. “ZXMOTO is a brand with serious momentum, a clear focus on performance and passion, and a product range that we believe will genuinely surprise people,” he said.

Prospective buyers can register interest via the UMI website ahead of the spring 2026 arrival window.

UMI’s existing portfolio spans a broad range of segments. The distributor’s current lineup includes Royal Enfield, Segway Powersports, Peugeot Motocycles, Torrot and Rieju Motorcycles.
