Royal Enfield this month revealed the Guerrilla 450 Apex for the Australian market, arriving at dealerships from June priced from $8590 rideaway. The update introduces two new exclusive colour variants and, more significantly, a revised tyre setup that better reflects the roadster’s sporty intentions.
The Apex is offered in two colours: Apex Red at $8590 rideaway and Apex Black at $8690. Both represent a $200 premium over the existing Smoke Silver and Brava Blue variants.

The headline change is the tyre specification. The original Guerrilla 450, which we rode at its global launch in Barcelona, shipped with a tread pattern that drew criticism from local and international media alike. The block-pattern rubber, while technically capable, felt at odds with the bike’s road-focused roadster character.
The Apex addresses this with a tyre better suited to performance road riding, matching the 120/70 R17 front and 160/60 R17 rear sizing to a compound and tread pattern more appropriate for the twisties.
Otherwise the Guerrilla 450 Apex carries over the fundamentals that made the bike compelling in the first place. Power comes from Royal Enfield’s 452cc liquid-cooled Sherpa single, producing 29kW and 40Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox and slipper clutch.
Suspension is handled by a 43mm Showa telescopic fork up front and a linkage-type Showa monoshock at the rear. Dual-channel ABS is standard, as is the 4.0-inch Tripper TFT display with Google Maps navigation and phone connectivity.
The Guerrilla 450 Apex is LAMS approved and backed by Royal Enfield’s three-year unlimited kilometre warranty and three-year roadside assistance.
