Royal Enfield has concluded the third season of its Busted Knuckles Build-Off dealer custom competition in Australia, revealing five bespoke builds based on the Shotgun 650. The People’s Choice poll opens Thursday 21 May.
Australia is the first global market to host the third edition of the competition, which is run exclusively through Royal Enfield’s dealership network. Five dealers were selected from an open call for submissions and given six months to complete their builds.
An Experts Choice winner has been determined, though Royal Enfield has not yet disclosed the result publicly.

MotoMAX Perth built Dirty Purdy, a build centred on a twin “shotgun” exhaust system exiting high and wide at 45 degrees with no mufflers.
The stance was lowered 40mm at the rear through revised shocks, with a Goan 350 rear guard hanger, custom guard and a genuine Royal Enfield accessory seat.
Finished in raw steel with the builder’s signature piston bolt logo, the motorcycle strips the platform back to an aggressive, purposeful form.

Moto Machine produced the Desert Eagle, described as a nitrous-equipped desert bobber with a post-apocalyptic aesthetic drawn from Group B rally and Dakar racing.
The build features a steel-fabricated fuel tank, tank-mounted ram air intake, NOS system, custom side-exit twin exhausts, a three-row LED headlight setup and custom aero discs.
YSS rear suspension and a long list of fabricated, CNC-machined and 3D-printed components complete the build.

GRID Motorcycles on the Gold Coast built the RE1000, the most technically ambitious entry in the competition. Developed with Jesse Robinson, the original 650 engine was internally transformed into a 1000cc parallel twin, described by Royal Enfield as a world first.
Builder Dylan Brown hand-fabricated a custom chrome moly frame, aluminium tank and fenders, handlebars, grips and triple clamps. The build draws from drag racing culture and Japanese craftsmanship.

House of Motorcycles produced the Sawn-Off, a bobber and drag-bike inspired build constructed in-house by builder Cam.
The motorcycle uses a low-profile urban flyscreen, black signature rider seat, XL 10.5-inch rear shocks, 7/8-inch drag handlebars and an Up and Over Riser Kit.
Integrated Ellypse run/turn/brake lighting and bespoke turn signals keep the finish clean and tightly resolved.

Fast Fuel Motorcycles built the Spitfire 650, drawing on the Supermarine Spitfire for visual reference.
Standout features include afterburner-style flame throwers, ammunition case saddlebags, a custom LED tail strip, hand-brushed bomber teeth clutch cover and candy red powder-coated details.
Fast Fuel designed the build to remain road registrable and usable day to day.
